 The Mk. 3 version of this well-established plywood family or racing dinghy is the same shape and rig as the earlier boats, but the hull has the double chines wired and covered with fiberglass tape and resin. There are no built-in frames. The hull is stiffened by the central inner keel and buoyancy compartments. Length 11 ft., beam 4 ft. 8 in., draft 6 in. or 30 in. with centerboard down. Bermudan rig 80 sq. ft. An outboard motor up to 3 H.P. may be used. A family boat for up to four under oars or power, or two for racing. Racing handicap number about 120. A good sea boat for its size.
Plywood requirements -
5 sheets 1/4" (6mm) x 4' x 8'.
