| AIRBOAT |
 AIRBOAT, a mixture of airplane and boat with the resultant
thrills of both. Of course it is a boat powered by an
airplane type propellor with large above the water rudders.
But what boat is capable of skimming over a few inches of
water and vegetation? Only an AIRBOAT. It you need to go
thru shallow water to get to the best fishing, or if you
simply want the excitement of exploring unusual and new,
seemingly inaccessible waterways, then AIRBOATING is for
YOU.

 Our AIRBOAT is simple to build; no complicated building
form, difficult curves, or compound bends. The flat
bottomed boat is made from inexpensive, lightweight
plywood in standard 4'x 8' sheets. Patterns are given
for all framing members to make building easier and
eliminate possible errors. Complete material listings
and step by step instructions take you thru building the
hull AND explain in detail all engine components from
motor stand, to guard, thru steering and controls.
Readily obtainable materials are used throughout the
construction; nothing is required that shouldn't be
available at your local lumber and hardware store,
with the exception of the motor. Plenty of VW aircooled
Beetle type engines are available and they make an ideal,
simply modified, powerplant for an AIRBOAT. The hull type
is a flat bottom, airboat scow, for plywood planking.
