 OUTBOARD HYDROPLANE - CABOVER JUPITER 10
A cabover type hydro that flies over the water, sponsons seldom touching. Incorporating the best points of both the Cabover and conventional 3 point design, great on rough water, going through the "stuff" that other drivers have to back off for. Excellent turning characteristics in both rough and smooth water, and very quick at accelerating out of a turn.
Although Jupiter is an "out and out" racing hydro, it will take any pleasure motor from 7 hp up ... The weight of the motor rather than the hp will determine the motor to use 110 pounds is about the limit.
As simple to build as possible yet meets all APBA specs for "A", "B", and "C". 30 pictures of construction, full step by step building instruction, full size rib drawings, scale drawings, bill of materials and some tips on setting up for racing are all included 'in the set.
A boat kit is not available for this design, however see the Wetback 10, for a complete hydro Kit.
