 Roar is a modified version of the prototype Roar rowboat. After the hull form of the Toto canoe proved itself in very rough conditions, the prototype Roar was modified to have a V bow entry. The resulting boat may be a tad harder to beach, but it is otherwise as fast and has superior tracking in all conditions and smoother action in rough water.
Plans consist of blueprints and instructions for stitch & glue construction. Also included are plans for making your own oars. All plank shapes are defined. Using the dimensions given, parts are drawn directly onto the plywood sheets and cut out. No building jig necessary. 4 sheets of 1/4" plywood are required.
